Court-Ordered & Probationary Drug Testing — Chicagoland Area

If a judge, probation officer, attorney, or family court has required you to submit to drug testing, you need results that are legally defensible — not a home kit, not a pharmacy strip test. Court-ordered drug testing requires a certified collector, documented chain of custody, and results from a certified laboratory. We provide all of that across the greater Chicagoland area. You can come to our Rolling Meadows location or we can coordinate mobile collection at your home, workplace, or another private location within 30 miles.

What court-ordered drug testing actually requires

Courts, probation departments, and family law attorneys require drug test results that can withstand legal scrutiny. That means the specimen was collected by a neutral certified third party, chain of custody was documented from collection through laboratory analysis, the laboratory is SAMHSA-certified, and results are tamper-evident and legally defensible.

A home test strip or pharmacy kit cannot provide any of these. Even if you pass a home test, a court or probation officer will not accept it as valid documentation. We use certified collectors and accredited laboratory partners so your results hold up.

How the process works

  1. Confirm your test type

Your probation officer, attorney, or court order will specify the panel required — 5-panel, 10-panel, hair follicle, EtG alcohol, or other. If you are not sure what you need, call us before you book and we will confirm the right test for your situation.

  2. Schedule your appointment

Same-day and next-day appointments are available in most cases. If your probation officer or attorney needs to be notified before collection, we can coordinate that. We work directly with attorneys on attorney-referred cases.

  3. Collection with chain of custody

A certified collector performs the collection — urine, oral fluid, or hair depending on what your court order specifies. Chain of custody documentation is completed at collection. Every specimen is sealed and labeled under observed conditions. The process takes less than 10 minutes per person.

  4. Laboratory analysis

Specimens are processed at a SAMHSA-certified laboratory. Results are typically available within 24–72 hours depending on test type and panel. If a confirmation (GC/MS) test is needed on a non-negative result, additional time may apply.

  5. Results delivery

Results are delivered in the format your court, probation department, or attorney requires — directly to you, to your attorney, to your probation officer, or to the court — depending on your authorization. We confirm the correct delivery format before collection begins.

Test types available for court-ordered cases

The right test depends entirely on what your court order or probation agreement specifies. Common options include:

  • Urine drug screen (5, 10, or 12-panel) — most common for probation, results in 24–48 hours
  • Hair follicle test — 90-day detection window, commonly ordered for custody cases
  • EtG alcohol urine test — detects alcohol use within approximately 80 hours
  • Oral fluid (saliva) — used when observed collection is required
  • Breathalyzer / BAT — for active alcohol use detection on-site

Yes — results come from a SAMHSA-certified laboratory with documented chain of custody. We can deliver results directly to your probation officer if authorized. If your probation officer has a specific form they require, let us know before collection.

Can you come to my home or do I have to come to you?

Both options are available. We coordinate mobile collection at your home, workplace, or another private location within 30 miles of Rolling Meadows. You can also visit our Rolling Meadows location directly. Chain of custody applies regardless of where collection happens.

How fast can I get an appointment?

What if I don't know what panel my court order requires?

Call us before booking. We will review your court order or probation paperwork with you and confirm the correct test panel and specimen type. We can usually confirm within minutes.

Can my attorney order this test on my behalf?

Yes — we work with attorney-referred cases. Results can be delivered to your attorney in whatever format they need.

Is this confidential?

Yes. Results are released only to you and any party you authorize in writing — such as your attorney, probation officer, or the court. We do not share results with anyone else.
