Who is eligible to take the DOT Specimen Collector Training course?

Anyone can enroll. No prior healthcare, medical background, or clinical certification is required. It is suitable for third-party administrators (C/TPAs), employer safety managers, designated employer representatives (DERs), independent collection technicians, and clinic personnel.

How long does it take to complete the qualification?

The online training modules are self-paced and can be completed at your convenience. Live mock collection sessions are scheduled upon completing the online coursework and typically take 1 to 2 hours to complete.

What certificate do I receive upon completion?

Upon successfully passing the final exam and completing the 5 required mock collection demonstrations, students receive an official Certificate of Qualification verifying compliance with DOT 49 CFR Part 40.33.
