DOT-COMPLIANT · ON-SITE EMPLOYER DRUG TESTING
Las Vegas, Nevada Mobile Drug & Alcohol Testing
LAS Airport FAA · Hospitality & Gaming · I-15 FMCSA · Construction Boom · Nevada Marijuana Law — Certified mobile collections at your site.
Las Vegas presents a uniquely layered compliance challenge. Nevada legalized recreational cannabis in 2017 — but federal DOT testing rules (49 CFR Part 40) remain unchanged, and marijuana positives are still disqualifying for all DOT-regulated safety-sensitive employees regardless of state law. Every gaming resort, construction contractor, and logistics operator in Clark County must navigate this tension carefully. Add to that the FAA 14 CFR Part 120 obligations for Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) — one of the nation's busiest — and a construction sector running the largest hotel and arena projects in the U.S., and Las Vegas becomes one of the highest-demand mobile testing markets in the country. OnSite Employer Testing dispatches certified collectors to casino back-of-house, construction sites, and airport ramp areas throughout Clark County.
OnSite Employer Testing coordinates mobile drug testing collections at your Las Vegas-area facility, yard, terminal, or job site. We do not operate a clinic. Review how it works or browse all locations we serve across the region.
Las Vegas: The Nation's Most Complex Drug Testing Environment

FAA 14 CFR Part 120 governs all safety-sensitive aviation employees at LAS — one of the 10 busiest airports in the U.S. FMCSA 49 CFR Part 382 applies to the enormous CDL fleet serving Clark County. Nevada NRS 678C legalized recreational marijuana, but 49 CFR Part 40.151(e) explicitly prohibits MROs from canceling a DOT marijuana positive due to a state medical or recreational authorization — federal rules apply to all DOT-covered employees regardless of Nevada law. Nevada does not have a state-mandated DFWP statute but employers may adopt voluntary programs.
Program design and compliance obligations remain your responsibility under applicable law — we coordinate the collections.

Questions from employers in this region
Nevada legalized marijuana — does that affect our DOT drug testing program?
No. Federal DOT rules (49 CFR Part 40) are not affected by Nevada's recreational marijuana law (NRS 678C). A marijuana positive on a DOT test is still a violation. MROs cannot cancel a positive result due to a state cannabis authorization. This applies to all FMCSA, FAA, FRA, PHMSA, and FTA-regulated employees in Nevada.
Can you come to casino or resort properties for back-of-house collections?
Yes. We coordinate directly with resort HR and security teams to conduct collections in designated back-of-house areas — maintaining employee privacy and Chain of Custody integrity throughout.
Do you serve Harry Reid International Airport ramp and cargo operations?
Yes. We enroll aviation safety-sensitive employees at LAS into FAA 14 CFR Part 120 compliant random pools and coordinate unannounced collections with appropriate airport access coordination.
Can you handle construction site testing on the Las Vegas Strip projects?
Yes. We dispatch to active construction sites — bringing collections to the field office or designated area. No workers need to leave the site.
